The tickets sold in this online booking are valid as electronic travel documents. Electronic travel documents are valid by displaying barcode or QR-code either on paper or on receipt from e-mail. The customer is responsible for displaying a valid travel document (screen shot of QR-code on smartphone is valid as a travel document).
All prices are in Norwegian kroner and are displayed including value added tax (VAT). The total cost of the purchase will appear before the order and include all costs associated with the purchase such as fees and delivery costs.

Sales and delivery terms
Dispatch of orders
All orders are automatically processed by the ticket system. After successful purchase and payment, your order will be ready for verification of our ticket machines on the boats.
The order will be delivered immediately after your card is charged. The order will be sent to your e-mail address and will be displayed on screen after completion of payment. The order is considered delivered when it has been sent to customer per e-mail.
We require payment for the item at the time the order is made.
Secure credit card information
When you purchase tickets at Gjendebåten, the payment will be processed by Net/Teller, which is a secure electronic payment solution for Visa and MasterCard/Eurocard. All card information is kept in accordance with the regulations of the card companies.
Tickets/electronic travel documents are valid for the departure they have been purchased for and all subsequent departures (if these are not fully booked at the time of departure). Unavailable tickets are not refundable.
We process personal data according to the Personal Information Act. Information that may be associated with you as a person will never be made available to other businesses or be linked to other external records.
Validity for discounted return tickets
A discounted return ticket will only be valid for the departure day it is booked for. The ticket is personal to the traveler as soon as the ticket is verified – when embarking at the start of the journey.
If there is a defect in your purchased product, you must provide us a written notice (e-mail or letter) within a reasonable period of time after discovering it. You will then receive information about what to do next. The rules on complaints can be found in the Consumer Purchase Act.
According to Section 19 in the Consumer Purchase Act, individual services are not to be refunded if the seller undertakes to provide the service at a particular time or within a specified time at the time of the agreement. There is therefore no cancellation or cancellation option for tickets purchased for travel with Gjendebåtene. Under special circumstances, deviations from this provision may be made.
