 You will find many alternative tours in Jotunheimen which start from Gjendesheim, Memurubu or Gjendebu. You can go from Gjendesheim to Memurubu over Besseggen and take the boat back. You can take the boat to Memurubu and walk back to Gjendesheim or walk further to Gjendebu, Glitterheim or Spiterstulen. From Gjendebu there are marked trails to Leirvassbu, Spiterstulen, Torfinnsbu, Eidsbugarden, Olavsbu og Skogadalsbøen. You will also find a selection of routes up to the many majestic mountain summits in the area.
